How to Receive, Grow & Thrive
with Clone Harvest

Welcome to Clone Harvest! We're here to make your growing journey as smooth and successful as possible. Whether you're a first-time grower or a seasoned pro, we’ve got your back. Follow these simple steps, and you’ll be well on your way to growing healthy, thriving hemp plants! And remember, if you ever need help, our customer service team and expert consultants are always available to assist you at any step of the way.

Step-by-step guide on planting healthy hemp and cannabis clones with strong roots into the soil for successful growth.

Step 1: Set Up Your Growing Space

  • Choose the Right Spot: Whether you’re growing indoors or outdoors, find a location that gets enough sunlight (at least 6 hours per day). Hemp loves the sun, so make sure your plants aren’t getting overshadowed!

  • Soil or Hydro?: You can grow in soil or hydroponics. If you’re using soil, go for a well-draining, nutrient-rich mix. If you’re going hydro, make sure your system is clean and prepared for those young roots.

  • Get Your Tools: Have your pots, planters, or growing medium ready to go. A simple 1-gallon container works for clones until they’re ready to go into bigger homes. Also, gather watering tools, a thermometer, and pH testers if you’re using hydro.

Step 2: Receive with Care

  • When Your Package Arrives: Open it up and check that everything’s in great shape! We take pride in packing your plants with care, but if anything looks off (or worse, dead on arrival), reach out within 24 hours with photos, and we’ll make it right.

  • Handle with Love: Gently unbox your clones and teens. Treat them like the delicate beauties they are—handle with care, especially the roots.

  • Storage Tip: If you’re not planting immediately, keep your clones in a cool, shaded spot to help them acclimate before planting.

If you need guidance on unboxing or storing your plants, don’t hesitate to contact us for support!

Step 3: Planting Your Clones

  • Dig a Hole (or Place in Hydro): For soil, dig a small hole big enough to comfortably fit your clone’s root ball. If you’re growing hydroponically, make sure the plant’s roots are submerged in the water but not too deep!

  • Place Your Clone: Gently place your clone in the hole or hydro system. Lightly pack the soil around it (don’t overpack) or ensure it has enough support in hydro.

  • Water: Water it in! Gently, but enough to settle the soil and hydrate the roots. Make sure the roots are moist but not waterlogged.

Step 4: Care and Maintenance

  • Watering: Hemp loves water, but don’t drown it! Make sure your plants have moist but not soggy soil. Check daily and water when the soil feels dry about 2-3 inches down.

  • Sunlight: Your plants need about 6+ hours of sunlight per day. If you’re indoors, make sure they have plenty of light—use grow lights if necessary!

  • Nutrients: Use organic or hydroponic nutrients to feed your plants. Start slow and follow feeding schedules—too much can be just as harmful as too little!

Our customer service team is ready to assist with watering schedules, nutrient advice, and light setup!

Step 5: Watch Them Grow & Thrive

  • Growth Stages: Your clones will go through some growing stages—rooting, vegetative, and flowering. The key is patience! Hemp is hearty and will let you know what it needs.

  • Training Your Plants: Hemp grows fast, so you may want to train your plants with techniques like topping, pruning, or low-stress training (LST) to promote healthy growth.

  • Monitor: Keep an eye on your plants for pests or diseases. Keep your growing space clean and tidy—your plants will thank you!

Step 6: Harvest & Celebrate

  • When to Harvest: Hemp is ready to harvest when the trichomes (those tiny crystal-like structures) turn from clear to milky or amber. Check them often during flowering!

  • How to Harvest: Use sharp, clean scissors or pruning shears to carefully cut branches. Harvest early in the morning for the best quality.

  • Post-Harvest: Dry and cure your hemp properly to preserve its quality and potency. Store it in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness.
